Welcome to AI PrepX™ ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at aiprepx.com and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent that you (a) are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. About AI PrepX™

AI PrepX™ is an AI-powered interview preparation platform. We provide tools, voice-based mock interviews, aptitude assessments, and other preparation features to help users practice and improve their interview skills. Our services include:

Voice-based HR and Technical mock interviews powered by AI
Aptitude test generation and assessment
CV/Resume analysis and gap identification
Performance feedback and evaluation reports
Interview preparation resources and guidance

We may update or improve our algorithms, AI models, and the overall Service at any time without prior notice. We may also discontinue or change parts of the Service or revise these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Token System and Payments

AI PrepX uses a token-based system for accessing premium features:

New users may receive complimentary tokens upon registration
Additional tokens can be purchased through our platform
Different assessments consume different amounts of tokens (Aptitude: 10, HR Interview: 20, Technical Interview: 30)
Purchased tokens are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
Incentive/bonus tokens may expire according to our token policy
Token balances are non-transferable between accounts

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, and analyse site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. All data collected through analytics is used to improve our services and is never sold to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. No Guarantees on Interview Outcomes

While AI PrepX provides tools and practice opportunities to help you prepare for interviews, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes including but not limited to:

Success in actual job interviews
Job placement or employment offers
Specific scores or performance levels
Accuracy of AI-generated feedback or assessments

Our AI-powered features are meant for practice and preparation purposes only. You should always combine our tools with your own independent research and preparation.

6. No Professional Advice

The content on AI PrepX is provided for general informational and practice purposes only. It does not constitute career, legal, financial, or any other type of professional advice. You are solely responsible for your career decisions and job search strategies based on your needs, preferences, and independent research.

7. Your Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or related systems
Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access or extract data except as expressly permitted by us
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

8. User Content

By uploading content (CVs, resumes, job descriptions, voice recordings, etc.) to our Service, you:

Grant us a licence to use the content for providing our services
Warrant that you have the right to share such content
Acknowledge that we may use aggregated, anonymised data for service improvement
Understand that voice recordings are processed for interview practice and feedback generation

9. Accounts and Security

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete registration information
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account or security breach

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software are owned by AI PrepX™ or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission, except as expressly allowed by law.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services that are not owned or controlled by us (such as authentication providers, payment processors, or AI service providers). We do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for the content, products, or services of third-party sites, the accuracy or reliability of information on those sites, or any damages or losses arising from your use of third-party services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI PrepX™ and its owners, partners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including, without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — arising out of or related to:

Your access to or use of the Service
Your reliance on any content, feedback, or recommendation on the Service
Any interview outcomes or career decisions based on using our Service
Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or personal information

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed, in the aggregate, the amount (if any) you paid to us for using the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the Service will meet your expectations or requirements.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI PrepX™ and its owners, partners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Any unused tokens may be forfeited upon account termination for Terms violations.

16. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Service after the revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, in particular the applicable laws in force in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
