Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AIPrepX (the “Service”) at aiprepx.com, operated by BendFlex Research and Development Private Limited, Bangalore, India (“BendFlex”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, logging in, or using any feature of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

AIPrepX is an AI-assisted interview preparation platform. It analyses your resume (CV) and a target job description (JD) to generate personalised interview questions, suggested answers, mock interviews (text and voice), STAR stories, revision notes, role research, salary guidance, and related preparation content. All generated content is produced by third-party large language models (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) and is intended for personal practice and preparation only. It is not professional career, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using AIPrepX you represent that you are 18 or older. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

3. Account & Access

3.1 Account creation. You log in with a valid email address. First-time users verify their email with a one-time password (OTP) sent to that address. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure; anyone with access to your inbox can log into your AIPrepX account.

3.2 One account per person. You may not share your account or create multiple accounts to circumvent trial limits, feature caps, or other restrictions.

3.3 Rate limits. To prevent abuse we apply automated rate limits (e.g. login attempts per minute, generations per hour). These are subject to change without notice.

4. Plans, Pricing & Payment

4.1 Plans currently offered:

  • Free Trial — ₹0, valid for 7 days, unlimited generations of every feature except voice mock interviews. One trial per user and per network.
  • Monthly Basic — ₹199 per month (30 days), unlimited generations of every feature except voice mock interviews.
  • Monthly Pro — ₹499 per month (30 days), unlimited generations of every feature including voice mock interviews.

Existing subscribers of plans that are no longer offered for new purchases (Yearly Pro) retain their full entitlement and renewal rights for the remainder of their term.

Currency. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) for users located in India and US Dollars (USD) for users elsewhere. The currency you see is determined by your IP address at the time of purchase, with a manual override available on the pricing page (your selection persists for one year via a cookie, and across devices for signed-in users). Both currencies are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4.2 Taxes. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of indirect taxes (GST in India; VAT / sales tax in other jurisdictions where AIPrePX is required to collect and remit). Customers in jurisdictions where reverse-charge VAT applies (typically business customers in the EU) remain liable for their own tax filings. 4.3 No auto-renewal. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. You must manually purchase a new plan when the current one expires.

4.4 Topups. You may pre-purchase additional months/years on top of your current plan. Each topup queues behind the previous one and activates automatically when its predecessor expires.

4.5 Payment processor. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (both INR and USD). We do not store your card or banking details on our servers; those are handled by Razorpay under their own terms and privacy policy.

4.6 Coupons. We may offer promotional coupons (e.g. partner discounts). Each coupon has its own expiry date, usage cap, and applicable plans. Flat-amount coupons are denominated in INR and apply to INR plans only; percent-off coupons apply in any currency. Coupon terms shown at checkout govern that promotion.

5. No Refunds — All Sales Final

All purchases of paid plans (Monthly Basic, Monthly Pro, and any legacy paid plans previously offered) are final. We do not offer refunds, pro-rated or otherwise, including for unused subscription time, accidental purchases, dissatisfaction with AI-generated output, or change of mind. Free Trial users are not eligible for refunds. This clause does not affect any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable Indian consumer protection law.

We strongly encourage you to use the Free Trial first to confirm the Service meets your expectations before purchasing a paid plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Upload a CV or JD that is not yours or that you are not authorised to share, or that contains another person’s confidential information.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, automate, mirror, or resell the Service or any AI-generated output as a substitute service.
  • Probe, attack, or attempt to bypass the Service’s security, authentication, rate limits, or feature gating.
  • Use the Service in any manner that interferes with, disrupts, or overloads our infrastructure or third-party providers.

7. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer

7.1 Practice tool only. The Service produces AI-generated text and speech. AI models can be confidently wrong, miss context, or reflect biases present in their training data. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it in real interviews, applications, salary negotiations, or other consequential decisions.

7.2 No guarantees. We make no representation or warranty that the Service will increase your interview performance, secure you a job offer, or produce content suitable for any particular purpose.

7.3 Voice features. Voice mock interviews use Microsoft Edge TTS for interviewer audio and your browser’s built-in Web Speech API for transcribing your spoken answers. Speech-to-text quality depends on your device, microphone, and browser (Chrome on desktop is recommended).

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Your content. You retain ownership of your CV, your JDs, and any text you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (including transmitting it to AI providers to generate output, and caching the output for your account).

8.2 Generated output. To the extent any rights subsist in AI-generated text or audio, we do not claim ownership of the output produced for your account; you may use it for personal interview preparation. You may not resell or republish bulk generated output as a competing service.

8.3 Our property. The AIPrepX name, logo, website, prompts, evaluation rubrics, code, and design are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, third-party outages (Anthropic, Google, Razorpay, Telegram, our hosting provider), or causes beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, opportunity, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹2,499, whichever is lower.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

11.1 By you. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing contact@aiprepx.com from your registered address. Per clause 5, no refund is payable on termination.

11.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt fraud, issue chargebacks, or behave in a way that creates risk for us, our providers, or other users. No refund is payable on suspension or termination for cause.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a new “Last Updated” date on this page, and (where reasonable) an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
